"I was diagnosed with Grave’s Disease by my general doctor in 2016. Graves' disease is an autoimmune disorder that causes hyperthyroidism, or overactive thyroid. With this disease, your immune system attacks the thyroid and causes it to make more thyroid hormone than your body needs. I went for a second opinion at Vanderbilt University where based on my antibody test results they told me I would have to be on prescription medication for the rest of my life. That is when my chiropractor recommended, I try CBD Oil.
After 4 months on medication and CBD I starting weaning myself off of medication and only taking CBD oil. I went back in for blood testing and my levels were maintaining on CBD without any other medications. I still get bloodwork done 2x yearly, but have not needed any prescription medication since October of 2017.
I have ridden and shown horses my whole life and my husband is an equine veterinarian, so we started researching CBD use in horses. I started EVSPharm to provide the best CBD and Hemp products for horses and dogs."

Dr. Hicks has completed advanced training in digital imaging and has completed ISELP advanced modules on hock, stifle, pelvis & hip, neck & back and shoulder & elbow.
